**Volunteer Opportunity Overview:**

Phoenix Hostel & Cultural Center is currently seeking positive, kind, and responsible volunteers to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Volunteers are crucial to the hostel’s operations and must exhibit a positive attitude, love for travel, adaptability, cultural literacy, and the ability to work in a communal setting. Duties primarily include cleaning, laundry, yard work, and occasional assistance with maintenance and improvement projects. Volunteers are expected to work 15-20 hours per week with 2 days off, mainly between 10 am – 1 pm. Non-smokers are preferred. Additionally, volunteers must be comfortable working with the Trans/LGBTQ community, support women and non-binary leadership, uplift Black/Brown women’s leadership, and advocate for migrant rights, while maintaining an anti-racist practice and commitment to social justice.
