Nestled in the heart of Costa Rica, this retreat leverages the country’s breathtaking natural beauty to create an environment that encourages guests and volunteers alike to reconnect with themselves and one another. The center emphasizes values that support the human experience, promoting a sense of responsibility, purpose, and quality of life among its participants. Established with the intention of providing a safe space, Peace Retreat has developed a welcoming atmosphere that fosters authentic expression and meaningful connections.

The Peace Retreat operates under four main pillars: yoga, nourishment, bodywork, and ceremony. Recognizing the profound impact of yoga, the center offers daily classes led by certified instructors, providing a consistent and meaningful practice for guests. The “food is medicine” philosophy at Nourish at Peace Restaurant reflects a commitment to sustainability and health, utilizing local ingredients to prepare meals that are served at specific times, thus encouraging communal dining and connection. The Body at Peace Spa enhances the retreat experience by offering a range of treatments focused on self-care and healing, including traditional massages and women’s health treatments, while the Ceremony at Peace menu invites participants to engage in transformative practices like cacao ceremonies and sound healing that facilitate deeper communal bonds.

With its communal size and focus, Peace Retreat accommodates a diverse range of individuals seeking self-improvement and connection. The retreat welcomes guests and volunteers, creating opportunities for all to engage with the land, community, and each other. Through shared experiences and a holistic approach to wellness, participants are encouraged to tap into a deeper collective energy, fostering an environment where meaningful change can occur. This strong emphasis on community, dedication to wellness, and the integration of local culture culminate in a transformative experience that empowers individuals to return to their lives with newfound clarity and purpose.
