Sangha Fest is a vibrant event that emphasizes health, wellness, and community. The term “Sangha” originates from Sanskrit, meaning “community” or “bringing together,” which encapsulates the festival’s mission. It aims to unite individuals in a joyful celebration of life through sacred ceremonies, personal development, and holistic practices. Participants can engage in a variety of activities such as yoga, meditation, music, and art, all designed to nourish the body, mind, and spirit. The festival offers an opportunity for attendees to connect deeply with themselves and others, fostering a sense of belonging and shared experience.
The festival takes place at Tico Time River Resort, located near Durango, Colorado, specifically at 20 Road 2050, Aztec, NM. This picturesque venue, nestled along the Animas River, is a perfect backdrop for the celebrations. The resort features a diverse range of accommodation options, including RV sites, car camping, and primitive wooded camping, catering to individuals and families alike. In addition to the camping facilities, Tico Time offers various recreational amenities like multiple ponds, water slides, paddle boards, and hiking trails, creating a magical environment conducive to relaxation and connection.
Sangha Fest spans four days, from June 12th to 15th, 2025, and features an extensive lineup of activities. Attendees can arrive on Thursday to acclimate and participate in initial movement classes and evening ceremonies. The festival kicks off in earnest on Friday with three full days dedicated to yoga classes, workshops, live music, and ecstatic dance sessions. This combination of activities promotes not only physical wellness but also emotional and spiritual growth, allowing participants to forge meaningful connections within the conscious community. The event’s size fosters an intimate atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to share their journey, celebrate their uniqueness, and contribute to the collective experience.
