About Mana Retreat Centre:

Mana Retreat Centre is dedicated to creating a community that fosters connection, sustainability, and inclusivity. They welcome people from all walks of life to experience their sanctuary in the Coromandel Ranges. Through initiatives like their Work Exchange Program, Mana provides opportunities for individuals to volunteer in exchange for simple living, promoting a sense of belonging and shared responsibility. They also donate to local Community Services and Charities to ensure that everyone has the chance to benefit from the healing environment they offer. Additionally, Mana organizes Working Bee Weekends where people can contribute to the maintenance of the land and buildings, reinforcing the idea of collective care for the environment.

In line with their commitment to sustainability, Mana focuses on the well-being of the people, the land, and the buildings that make up their retreat centre. They prioritize giving back to the community and nurturing a healthy environment through practices such as their Carbon Offset Program where they plant trees annually. The structures at Mana are built with natural materials and a conscious effort to preserve native hardwoods, reflecting their dedication to creating a space that is both environmentally friendly and spiritually enriching. Through these initiatives, Mana seeks to cultivate a community that values interconnectedness and the well-being of both individuals and the environment.
