About Cascada Elusiana Eco-Lodge & Retreat Center:

Perched on a ridge overlooking the San Juan de Dios valley in Costa Rica, Cascada Elysiana (or Elysian Falls) stands as a breathtaking Natural Wonderland. It boasts one of Costa Rica’s most stunning waterfalls, accessible solely to them and their neighbors at Finca El Encanto, an organic water buffalo ranch situated across the river.

Their orchards and hiking trails represent a reforestation endeavor spanning 30 years, meticulously crafted by Eugene Mitchell. His vision aimed to revive the landscape surrounding these magnificent falls, previously stripped for cattle ranching purposes.

WHAT WE OFFER​

FOOD BASICS

​We provide food staples, including coffee, black tea, rice, beans,

lentils, pasta, flour, salt, pepper, and sunflower oil.​

We do not provide fresh produce, eggs, meat, specialty items,

snacks, beverages, breakfast cereal, bread, etc.

You are welcome to the fresh fruits from the trees throughout the lodge

as wells as herbs and greens grown in the garden.

​Vegetarian meals are provided at the main lodge during your work shifts.

​CAMPING AT THE “MAGIC GARDEN”​

You’ll live in a bad-ass campground dubbed the Magic Garden by pioneering volunteers Sarah and David. At the campground you’ll have a roof over your tent and are provided a foam mattress with all necessary bedding. The campground includes outdoor heated showers, laundry facilities, an eco composting toilet, communal kitchen, lounge, and even wifi.

Taking good care of our guests is our 1st priority.​

​KITCHEN & CLEANING

Help preparing meals for guests.

Help cleaning and maintaining the main lodge, as well as guest accommodations.​

​FINCA HELP

Carve and maintain trails, Organic gardening, greenhouse and landscape, etc.

​SOCIAL MEDIA, MARKETING, PHOTO/VIDEO

As needed depending on skills
