About Alya Retreat Center:

The Alya Retreat Center, founded by Shlomo Eizencot in 2009 on Costa Rica’s north pacific coast, is a sanctuary dedicated to helping individuals connect with themselves and nature. Inspired by Kundalini yoga, the center serves as a place of serenity and simplicity where guests can tap into their inner wisdom and release limitations. Shlomo’s vision for Alya was shaped by his transformative experience in a Kundalini yoga class, which awakened a great energy within him, leading to a mindset of love, equality, and clarity. This vision drove him to create a space for people worldwide to explore healing paths and nurture their bodies in a natural setting.

Retreats have a longstanding history as sacred traditions where individuals retreat from daily life for introspection and renewal. Alya Retreat Center embodies this tradition by offering guests the opportunity to engage in personal transformation through holistic practices and immersive experiences. The evolution of retreats over time reflects a modern need for relaxation, growth, and self-discovery in the midst of a fast-paced world. Shlomo’s journey with Kundalini yoga and his dedication to creating a space for others to connect with their inner wisdom underscores the center’s mission to provide a haven for individuals seeking freedom and spiritual elevation.

Shlomo’s gratitude for the transformative power of Kundalini yoga led him to complete teacher training and share his newfound wisdom with others. His journey to manifest a sacred space in Costa Rica underscores a universal longing for healing and connection with inner wisdom. Alya Retreat Center invites guests to experience the pura vida lifestyle, offering a blend of relaxation, healing modalities, and the beauty of nature to support guests on their journey of self-discovery and rejuvenation.
